Building an Intergenerational Inclusive Community

Caring, Engaging and Smart (CES) is a multi-disciplinary team comprised of social workers, occupational therapists and service officers. The CES team operates under the “Estate-based Social Support Network Model” by adopting “Caring”, “Engaging” and “Smart” as the service values. The team provides housing, health as well as social support to tenants through case management, therapeutic groups and programmes. By fostering neighbourhood mutual support networks, trust, solidarity and reciprocity are cultivated among tenants, so as to achieve “Building Closer Neighbourhoods for a Stronger Community”. This model enhances synergy across different levels of services, helping  tenants build social capital and supporting elders to age in place.
