Located on the 2/F of Cheerful Court in Ngau Tau Kok, Cheerful Court Care Home is a non-profit, self-financing residential care home operated by the Hong Kong Housing Society, offering a total of 55 beds. Cheerful Court Care Home is a recognized service provider under the Social Welfare Department's "Residential Care Service Voucher (RCSV) Scheme for the Elderly" (please visit the SWD Elderly Information Website for details).
Cheerful Court Caer Home boasts a prime location with comprehensive amenities. Within a 5-minute walk, residents can reach a shopping mall, restaurants, cultural and recreational facilities, fulfilling all daily living and shopping. Transportation is highly convenient, with numerous bus and minibus routes nearby, and it is only about an 8-minute walk from the Kowloon Bay MTR station, providing easy access to other districts in Hong Kong.
Cheerful Court Care Home provides nursing care and rehabilitation services (including occupational therapy and physiotherapy), with flexible long-stay or short-stay options. Tailored regular to intensive care is provided to render comprehensive support and continuous care that meet the diverse needs of residents.

With a total area of 15,576 square feet, Cheerful Court Care Home offers spacious accommodations with 55 beds, including single, double, 4-bed, and 6-bed rooms. Each bedroom is fitted with electric medical beds, private bathrooms, privacy curtains, and television etc. Each bed is equipped with an emergency call button. An individual wardrobe, storage locker and desk are provided for each resident. Residents can also enjoy the clubhouse facilities of the Cheerful Court, such as the canteen, the clinic, the podium garden, the library, and the salon.
Shared foyer with French window to allow sunlight bursts through, as well as a large television, rehabilitation exercise equipment and massage chairs.
Featured with a foot massage path and a gardening area, where residents can enjoy planting.
Cheerful Court Care Home provides a range of physical and cognitive training programmes. A multidisciplinary team comprising physiotherapists, occupational therapists and nurses conducts assessments for residents and formulates personalised training plans. Through structured training, it is aimed to delay degeneration and enhance self-care abilities of the residents. Services include:

Physiotherapy applies the theory of physics such as light, heat, cold, water, force and sound to help residents restore physical functions and delay the effects of ageing. Through stretching, weight training and functional training, physiotherapists correct posture, improve balance, and enhance mobility for individuals with restricted movement, such as those recovering from bone fractures and strokes. Combined with different treatment modalities like electrotherapy, manual therapy and acupuncture, etc. to relieve pain and reduce the limitations caused by various painful conditions.

Monthly menus designed by an experienced chef in consultation with a dietitian.
4 meals per day, including nutritious soups, nourishing sweet soups, and a variety of Chinese and Western cuisines. Special meals are available to accommodate individual residents' health conditions and swallowing abilities such as minced/moist-minced meals, pureed meals, diabetic meals, and low-salt meals (arranged according to doctor’s advice or prescription), to support frail residents or those with impaired swallowing ability to eat safely.
A wide variety of activities is offered to residents to enjoy an active and socially engaged lifestyle in their golden years, promoting both physical and mental well-being. These include fitness exercises, art activities, cognitive and gardening activities, outdoor trips, festive celebrations, and volunteer visits.

Eligible applicants who accept the placement will be arranged for admission.
Provide written notice to the Residential Care Home not less than 30 calendar days in advance
The resident/guarantor must settle the finaly monthly statement on or before the date of discharge
