The Tanner Hill Joyous Circle
Rehabilitation Centre
Established in 2005 by the Hong Kong Housing Society, the Housing Society Elderly Resources Centre (“ERC”) is the first of its kind in Hong Kong. Through educational guided tours, health screenings, and professional consultations, the ERC promotes age-friendly home environments to support older adults in their aspiration to age in place.
Following a comprehensive renovation completed in December 2020, the Centre features two simulated home environments that demonstrate practical age-friendly design principles, introduces over 100 gerontechnology products and assistive devices. The Centre offer a wide range of free themed guided tours and experiential activities, designed to deepen public understanding of gerontechnology and its application in age-friendly home living.
